Pretty tidy but a couple of issues... The alternator rattles - the drive plate is loose on the shaft, which is an easy fix.. It also loses oil (just dribbles) past the alternator o-ring, but I have a new one, and new cush rubbers to go with it.. It has the later, lower exhaust silencers, but the earlier (correct) higher silencer hangers.. the gap is bridged by some pretty ugly plates... Will need new tyres soon... MOT til end of November... Also has a rack for a later Trident fitted, but I have the original grab rail... Good bits... Engine and bodywork are very tidy, it's only done 50k miles and the Krauser panniers!

Hello, I've already posted this to your Facebook page, but thought I'd forward the offer to the club 'officially' through here as well.
Some of you may already know me from Shiny Bike Syndrome, I've also developed and am now selling carbon fibre fly screens for the Tiger 800, which eliminate the noise and turbulence of the stock screens while still offering some protection for the clocks and rider.
As these are a new product on the market, I'm happy to give members of BTOMC a 20% discount to get the ball rolling and get some out onto local bikes.
If you'd like one, mosey on over to my Aegis-Moto Facebook page, (as that's the brand I'll be selling carbon fibre bits under), and message me through that page using BTOMC15 as a discount code.
RRP is £120, so you'll be getting them for £100. UK postage is free, or you can pick one up from me in Newbury.
Thanks for any help in promoting these screens and I hope to see some on local bikes soon!

Once a year MAG have a stand in the town centre as a come and meet us, this year it was manned by members of Reading MAG, Royal Berkshire Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club, Thames Valley Advanced Motorcycle Group & a motorcyclist from the blood runners, during the day about 20, 6, 12 & 1 of their members attending and working during the day. One of the purposes is meeting the public to let them meet the people that ride bikes and realise that they are just the same as themselves.
As you can see from the press cutting our very own Club Rep attended the event not only recently but has supported the event where possible from 1994.
Well done Dave.
