The President is elected for an indefinite term. All other committee members are elected or re-elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Each member of the committee has a specific role as set out below, but all committee members attend committee meetings and they collectively work together to run the Branch. There are also a number of things that need to be done that are picked up by various members of the committee outside the \u201cofficial\u201d roles below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
President <\/strong>provides advice and guidance to the committee in all areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Chair<\/strong> organises and chairs the committee meetings and the AGM, chases people up and makes sure things get done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vice-Chair <\/strong>assists the chair, stands in for them if they are unavailable and would take over the Chair\u2019s position if the existing Chair stood down mid-year for any reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Secretary<\/strong> is the external contact point for official business and liaises with the National TOMCC club, deals with membership and does things like organising insurance for events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Treasurer<\/strong> looks after the money. The Branch has an income and expenditure of several thousand pounds each year. The Treasurer keeps accounts and manages financial controls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Scribe<\/strong> writes the Branch report that\u2019s in Nacelle each month and produces minutes for the AGM and committee meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tools Registrar <\/strong>manages the Branch\u2019s collection of specialist Triumph Tools and arranges for members to borrow them and return them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Regalia Officer <\/strong>arranges for all the Branch tee-shirts, other clothing and patches to be produced and takes orders and organises deliveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Runs Coordinator<\/strong> makes sure that regular ride-outs happen by leading rides and liaising with other people who lead rides<\/p>\n\n\n\n Webmaster <\/strong>develops and administers the Branch\u2019s website and Facebook page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Runs are arranged via a Whatsapp Group that any Branch member can join. A member of the committee administers this Group, but any member can propose and lead a ride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Events are organised by a number of different people on the committee working together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The President is elected for an indefinite term.
