Berks Branch TOMCC Nacelle Report – July 2019
Lead me back to the long and winding road!!! The sun’s shining and if you want to know more about our rides, drop an email to our runs leader, Collin at tomccberksruns@btinternet.com.
Some members set off for Europe for a week to roll on down the highway to Germany.
Back home, a couple more went to the Dirty Donkey, a rocking local MAG event. The next morning they rode out to the H Café at Berinsfield, a popular local biker café and bumped into some more members there.
A couple of others went out on a ride out from our local dealer, Bulldog Triumph.
Eight branch members turned out on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, meeting up in Newbury for a ride to what was billed in our Facebook group as a “mystery destination”. Collin had chosen a fantastic route through some twisty country roads before ending up at the Leckford Estate, a working farm with a fabulous café and shop. The sun shone for us as we sat chatting, eating bacon sarnie’s washed down with tea and coffee before setting off on the ride back.
Come and meet other members at our 33rd Classic and Custom Motorcycle Show on Saturday 20 July. As well as the show on Saturday, there’s a skittles competition arranged for Friday evening and free camping on Friday and Saturday night. There’s a well stocked bar with hot food available both nights and cooked breakfast each morning. So c’mon everybody !!!
Keep on rolling!
