Berks Branch TOMCC Nacelle Report – October 2020
Once upon a pair of wheels, hit the road and we’re gone!!! We’ve been out on rides every Sunday during August with an extra mid-week ride as well. We’ve been lucky with the weather and managed to keep dry. We normally leave around mid-morning on a Sunday from a start point near junction 12 of the M4, ride for an hour or more together to a venue with refreshments and outside seating, have a break and then ride back, getting home around 2pm or so. This month we had rides to the Haven Café near Salisbury, met up in Alton for a ride to Loomies, had a trip to Sally Pussey’s Inn, rode to the Norsk Café in Hadenham and fitted in a midweek ride to Midhurst. Details are arranged via our WhatsApp or Facebook groups. Get in touch by email if you want to join one these groups to ride with us.
As part of our growing online presence, we have now set up a YouTube channel called “TOMCC Berkshire Runs” where we have posted videos of our Branch rides taken with an on-bike camera, so you see what it’s like to be join us on a ride and wonder how our engines feel!! Why not take a look and subscribe to our channel.
We’re getting a good turnout of bikes at our re-opened club nights and the weather has been kind to us again, enabling us to meet outside and keep our distance.
Keep on rolling!
