It was another hot ride for five members of the Berkshire branch as we set off from Theale to Lasham Gliding Society Airfield near Alton. We had a quick stop at the ride leader’s house on the way and then onto the cafe at the airfield. While we were there a group from Rother Branch arrived. Recognising each other by our Branch t-shirts, we quickly introduced ourselves, had a brief chat and then posed for a joint group photograph. Good to have a joint meet with another Branch even if it was totally unplanned.
