The venue where we hold our shows has a purpose built skittles alley and bar. We have enjoyed an evening playing skittles while we drank, ate and chatted the night before our bike shows. Here are some pictures of Branch members at one evening before our Summer show.

Triumph 6T Thunderbird – 1969
Jame’s Bike. After 4 years of searching, I found my fathers old bike for sale. He used to ride it up and down the Kings Road in London in 1962, commuting from work at Peter Jones to Wandsworth common. This is where my parents met, so she is now reunited with the family.
Triumph Tiger 90 – 1937
Entry in our 2020 Online Old Motorcycle Gathering.
From Malcolm
I purchased the Tiger 90 at a swap meet in El Camino, California in 1991 when I lived in Los Angeles. I stripped and rebuilt it soon thereafter and rode it in a number of local events. Though, as might be imagined, excursions on to LA freeways was no fun at all.
I repatriated the bike when I returned to the UK in 2001 and have ridden it on many outings with the Berkshire VMCC Section and on several holidays around the UK.
Summer BBQ – June 2016
We have held an annual BBQ outside at the BCSA for our members at one of our Thursday Club Nights in the summer. Here are some photos of the BBQ in 2016.
Allen Millyard speaking
Allen Millyard, renowned for creating unique custom bikes in his garage, came to our clubnight and gave a talk on how he created some of his more extreme bikes such as the Flying Millyard, with v-twin engine made from two cylinders of an aircraft radial engine and the Millyard Viper, powered by a Dodge Viper V10.
White Dove Show – 2015
Our Classic & Custom Show was cancelled in 2015 because of extreme weather on the day. We had a stand at the White Dove Show that year though. Here are some photos of the Branch at that event.
Triumph Co-Operative Talk
John Rosamond, Chairman of the Triumph Workers Cooperative during the 1970s and early 1980s came to a Berkshire Branch club night to talk about that critical period in Triumph’s history and answer our questions.
John Rosamond is the author of a book “Save the Triumph Bonneville”, which gives a detailed account of his time at the Triumph Co-operative including the events leading up to formation of the co-operative and its eventual liquidation.
As it used to be
This article is about the Berkshire Branch’s annual Old Motorcycle Gathering. A motorcycle show for a bygone era, open to all marques tax exempt historic vehicles and ridden in. The article first appeared in Nacelle, the Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club Magazine, in 2014.
The show is held in June at the BCSA, the venue we also use for Thursday evening clubnights.
