Built by myself (with a little help from Dave DEgens of Dresda Autos). One off twin leading shoe front brake plate, as I didn’t have any confidence in the Triumph/BSA ‘comical’ hub.

This is an ex Royal Signals display team bike.
The bike has gone back home to North Yorks!
The buyer brought his grandad to view the bike, who rode with the display team and was responsible for selling off the bikes originally. He sold the bikes for the Army £100 each.

I have owned the bike for 14 years and we attend all the clubs shows. As it does not have an original exhaust system we never expect to win, but always enjoy the days. Roll on the real thing.

I bought this bike when I was 17 it was in bits over the years I have restored it. Because the Triumph factory that it was built in was bombed in approximately 1942 I found it very hard to get any information on it . I managed to find a classic bike magazine that had an issue of the 1937 Earl’s Court motorcycle show and on display was my bike, price to buy when new was £62.10s on the road. I have owned it for 53 years and absolute love it. It also runs.

Since my brother Roger Benge former member of your club passed away this is my first restoration project. My first bike at the age of 16 was a tiger cub and rebuilt by roger. I think he would be pleased with my efforts.
