Review of 2025

Our stand at British Superbikes at Thruxton – August 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, lets look back at some of the great times Berkshire TOMCC members had together this year.

We’re looking forward to more fun on our Triumphs in 2026 with more rides, lots of events at the BCSA and trips to others shows and events during the year.

Click on the video below for our wishes for the New Year.

We’re planning lots of fun things for next year and they’ll be added to the events page on this site once they are confirmed. See 2026 events for the latest confirmed events.

Rides in 2025

We had a really good year’s riding in 2025 with a record 79 organised Branch rides made up of 43 weekend ride-outs, normally Sunday mornings, and 36 midweek ride-outs. We also had more people leading rides, We ride all the year round whenever the weather is reasonable. All members are welcome to come on any Branch ride which are arranged through a Whatsapp Group.

See the video below for some highlights of our rides in 2025.

Last ride of 2025

Our last ride of the 2025 was on Sunday 28th December. It was cold, but not freezing, overcast so there was no blinding sun, and the roads were dry and the leaf sludge on much of the roads earlier in the month had been washed away and the roads were dry. Ideal winter riding conditions in fact. Collin led the ride and he had picked some great twisty roads with very little traffic through beautiful countryside. We ended up at the Court Hill Centre Cafe on the Ridgeway new Wantage for hot drinks and food before another enjoyable ride back home. Here are some photos. What a way to end a great year of riding.

Xmas Buffet 25 – Photos

Despite torrential rain and multiple road closures, we were only slightly down on expected numbers with just under 50 turning out for the Christmas buffet on the last Thursday before Christmas. “Tasty Bun” provided a cracking buffet of party food with both old favourites like “pigs in blankets” and mince pies with new additions like pizza slices and samosa’s. We also had cracking raffle with some great prizes. See below for some photos of the night.

Quiz Night 2025-Results

We had a good time at our annual quiz night in November. Bob Cromwell once again served up a set of brain-teasing questions and there were some good prizes to be won.

Congratulations to the winning team.

There was initially a tie for second place, but Bob was prepared with some tie break questions which resulted in a clear second and third place.

Ride to Jackeroo – Oct 25

Our bikes parked up by the Thruxton sign.

We had a Sunday ride to Thruxton with a difference. We had a new start point, meeting at Thatcham Football Club. It was also our first ride-out to the Jackeroo Cafe in its new incarnation, which is as an Airstream trailer inside the circuit serving food together with tables inside a tent next to it. We were led on scenic ride from Thatcham to Thruxton circuit, pausing briefly to pose for a photo by the Thruxton sign and then heading to the cafe. Some of our members stopped off for beer and lunch at the Flower Pots brewery while others made their way home. Here are some photos of the ride.

Ride to Rawles – Oct 2025

We had another Saturday ride to Rawles Motorsport Open Day, an event that we have been to a number of other times. Rawles is a restorer of Austin Healey’s and there Open Days are always interesting, with displays of some of their immaculate restorations as well as seeing around their workshops and the processes they go through in restoring cars. The event also raises money for the Naomi House Charity.

This year, Collin filmed the ride there with an 0n-board camera, which you can watch below.

No-one on the ride took photographs at the destination this time, but you can click here to see photos last year’s ride to Rawles.
