We had an Sunday morning ride to Longstock Farm Cafe, on the Leckford Estate, which is a farm owned by Waitrose. Here is a video of the ride.

We had a good time at our Branch BBQ on a Thursday evening on 3 July. The weather was dry and warm, we had plenty of excellent food and a good turnout of Branch members with their guests. There were some excellent bikes brought along and we awarded the Steve Butcher Memorial Trophy to the Best Branch Member’s bike there. This year this was awarded to a 1971 Triumph Trophy 650 twin.

We held our 2025 show for Old Bikes on 28 June 2025. It was a hot, humid day, overcast in morning and bright, sunny and very hot in the afternoon. We had around 60 old bikes on display on the lawn with a further 15-20 more modern bikes in the car park. The bar was open serving drinks and there was hot food, cakes and ice cream on sale in the lounge bar. There were some great bikes on display and and it was an enjoyable day.

Here are some photos of the winning bikes.

Four members of the Branch went on a one week trip to Northern Ireland riding their Triumphs. They rode up to Scotland, stayed overnight in Dumfries, and then took the ferry to Belfast and rode on to Stewartstown in the centre of the province. For each of the next four days they set off to explore a different part of Northern Ireland on their bikes. They then rode back home with an overnight stop in Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria. They each covered well over 1500 miles on the trip. Here are some photos of the trip.

Below is a couple of videos of the tour.
The first shows the highlights of all the places we visited.
The second one shows some of the riding we did taken with a camera on one of the bikes.
An article about this tour was published in Nacelle, the TOMCC magazine, in the December 2025 issue. Click here to read the article.

Most of our ride-outs are at the weekend, particularly on Sundays. But we also have mid-week ride-outs as well. A ride to Blackbushe Airport for lunch at the Pathfinder Cafe is a popular destination. There is a regular bike meet there in the summer around lunchtime on Wednesdays. As with all our rides, they are arranged at relatively short notice via our members only Whatsapp Runs Group.
Here are some photos of some recent ride-outs there.

We had great weather for our first open air bike meet of the year held at the BCSA on the Saturday of the May Bank Holiday weekend. It was warm, dry and sunny without being too hot. More than a 100 bikes came of all types and ages, old and new, including a Vincent, an MZ, Harleys, all the Japanese brands and of course, lots of Triumphs. As well as the normal burgers and chips and bacon rolls, there were paninis, sausage rolls, an amazing range of cakes and ice cream and, of course, a bar serving drinks. See photos of the event below. A couple of volunteers from the Blood Bikes were there with their bikes to explain to visitors what they do and we held a collection for them.

Our Branch stand had its first outing of the year on a sunny Saturday at Bulldog Triumph’s season launch event. We were outside the shop with a few classic bikes, some of our clothing and all the material to inform people what the Branch was all about. We had a great afternoon. There was an incredible BBQ and of course, all the new Triumph’s that Bulldog had in its showroom.
