We went on an early Sunday morning ride to TJ’s Cafe, in South Marsden near Swindon, so we could sample their excellent cooked breakfasts and then ride home again before the weather became too hot. Turned out the cafe is on the site of a factory that used to make Spitfires.

With dry, sunny but slightly cooler weather, we had a good turnout for our ride to Longstock Farm Shop and Cafe on Waitrose’s Leckford estate.

On another hot Sunday, we had an early ride-out to the rustic charms of the Court Hill Centre Cafe on the Ridgeway near Wantage. Here are some photos of the ride.

We went on one of our favourite rides again, to the iconic Thruxton Race Circuit and a late breakfast at the Jackeroo Cafe There. Here are the bikes in the car park

We heard that the old Haven Cafe near Salisbury had re-opened as the Thyme & Tides. So went on a ride out to see what it was like. On the way home we dropped in at Popham Airport.

We went on a ride-out to the REME museum which had a very nice cafe.

A group from the Branch joined thousands of local bikers on the annual Berkshire Egg Run where Eggs are donated to children’s charities.
