We had a Saturday ride to an open day at Rawles, the Austin Healey specialist. They had a magnificent collection of beautifully restored and enhanced Austin Healey’s to look at. There were a lot of impressive classic cars to look at brought by other visitors as well. Their workshops were open and there were staff on hand to talk about the processes they go through in taking the rusty remains of old cars and transforming them into the shiny finished beauties. With a barbecue cooking hamburgers and tea and coffee on offer, we had a great time. Here are some photos of the event.

On a warm October Sunday, we had a ride out to Hayling Island. Here are some photos of the event.

We joined up with Bulldog’s RAT group for a ride out to Blaze Inn Saddles Inn for lunch with a quick stop for at Garden Centre cafe on the way. The rain conveniently timed itself for lunchtime while we were under cover.

We had a ride out to Fort Nelson, a 19th century fort and artillery museum overlooking Portsmouth. Here are some photos of the ride.

Rain caused a delayed start to the planned Sunday ride. In the end, a small group went on a short ride to the Court Hill Centre cafe near Wantage. There are some photos of this below.

Ten of us set off on a sunny Sunday morning to ride to TJ’s Cafe near Swindon. There was a varied collection of bikes, including a couple of classics, a Rocket, a Thruxton and several Tigers and and Bonnevilles. At our destination we sat outside in the sun to enjoy the food and chat.
