It was cold, but it wasn’t raining, so we set off for Wycombe Air Park. There were a lot of wet roads and a few floods to navigate but we all got there ok. Nice cafe with a view of helicopters taking off.

We will be having a bring and buy (Swapmeet) sale for motorcycle related stuff at the BCSA on Thursday 19 January 2023 at our Thursday club night, from 8pm to 10pm. So if you have any: motorcycle clothing, parts, tools, accessories or books that you no longer want, bring them along.
Just turn up with your stuff and lay it out on a table in the bar and see if anyone wants to buy it.
Or just come along and browse through what is on offer. You might just grab a bargain.
Food, drink and endless chat about motorbikes is also on offer as on all other Thursday club nights.
Our first ride of 2023 was on 2 January, which was a Bank Holiday. It was wet, so we had a short ride to Popham Airfield and refreshments at the Spitfire Cafe there.

Happy New Year to all our members. We had around 100 activities together last year, have a look at our Review of 2022 to see and look at our Events page to see those that are already confirmed for 2023. There’s a lot more being planned and we will add them as they get confirmed. Keep on Rolling !!!

This year was our first full year of activities after two years disrupted by the pandemic. We made good use of it with around 100 activities/events organised which were opportunities for Branch members to meet up during the year. We had about 40 ride-outs, held our Old Motorcycle Gathering show, held two other bike meets, had our Branch stand at half a dozen other events, met every single Thursday evening and hosted the National AGM. Here are some photos of the year.

I hope you enjoyed the year. I am looking forward to having more fun with you all on our Triumph Motorcycles in 2023.
Keep on rolling!
Ton-Up Ted

Our last ride of the year was on the 21 December to Milbury’s at Beauworth for lunch.

Branch members and their guests had a fun evening at a special Christmas club night held just before Christmas at our normal venue. |With a Christmas tree in the corner of the room, Christmas music, a free buffet meal and and a raffle, there was a festive atmosphere for the evening. Everyone had a good time.
Here are some photos of the event.

We had a good day out at the annual Reading Toy Run organised by Reading Christian Motorcyclists in aid of Dr Barnado’s. We supported the event in a number of ways, with our gazebo being used as part of the toy collection point, a number of our members acting as marshalls and a ride-in to the start of the run for our members. Here are some photos of the day.

We had a good turn-out for our annual quiz night on a Thursday evening with around 35 people competing in teams of around 4 people each to answer a mix of motorcycle and popular culture related questions. Two teams got 20 out of 30 questions right, so Bob set a tie breaker to choose the ultimate winner. Everyone had a great evening.

Here are some photos from the event.
