A group of us went on the annual Egg Run organised by Thames Valley Vultures to collect Easter Eggs to donate to children. Here are some photos of us at the start point in Reading.

Here is a video of the ride using an onboard camera.
This event may be of interest to owners of classic Triumphs.

This event is not organised by the TOMCC and we won’t have a stand or official presence there.
For more information from the organisers, see here.
Below is the report published in the April 2026 issue of Nacelle, which covered Branch activities in February 2026
Our AGM took place on the 12th February, at the BCSA, where the old committee resigned and were replaced by the new, however most of the old committee remained in post with the exception of Graham “Mr Wobbly” King as Vice-Chair and Graham “Steelie” Steele as Runs Co-ordinator. For full details of the new committee please refer to the Branch website.

This coming season’s branch outdoor events were discussed along with the charities that we would support at said events. Proposals were agreed by a majority show of hands. The first of which, our Spring Meet, will take place on Saturday 25th April. Donations will be taken for TV Air Ambulance on this occasion. Normal facilities will be available at the BCSA, bar and kitchen, so why not come along with your pride and joy, friends and family, as all bikes are welcomed. Keep fingers crossed for a fine day.

Earlier in April on Good Friday, the Reading Egg Run will be held. If you’re interested in joining in the fun, check out the runs WhatsApp group for details of a branch meet.
Finally some advice for anyone intending on attending the AGM on Sunday 19th April. Our Chair, Nick, is keen to attend, so if you fancy going along and fancy some company, why not contact him?

We had some fine weather for a change, so 8 of us set off on a ride to Honey Street Mill Cafe, near Pewsey, about half way between Swindon and Stonehenge on the North Wessex Downs. We chose a new meet point for the ride behind a bus stop in Thatcham. We had an interesting route from there through some twisting roads. There are some photos of us at the start point and at Honey Street.

The riding season has really begun in earnest. After weeks of cold and rain, suddenly the sun was out and the temperature was up to to 20c, just as the Flying Scotsman was temporarily stationed at Ropley , a mere 30 miles away. So we had to ride to it. Fourteen members turned out for the ride to Ropley, saw the Flying Scotsman, had some refreshments at station and then rode onto a country pub for another break before splitting for home. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon. Here are some photos of the event.

If you own a Triumph Motorcycle and you live in the Berkshire area there are a lot of benefits in joining the Berkshire Branch of the TOMCC.
This video is a collection of video clips of some of the activities we got up to as a Branch during the last year and sets out the many benefits you can enjoy if you become a member,

In 2025, four members of the Berkshire Branch went on a one week tour to Northern Ireland. An article about this was published in the December 2025 issue of Nacelle, the TOMCC magazine.

The weather forecast was better, but still not good, so five Branch members set off on a short ride to Popham. It didn’t rain and the temperature was mild although the roads were still wet and there were a lot of puddles. After refreshments in the cafe we set off for home and even had some dry roads on the ride back. We all arrived home in the dry. Here are some photos.

The Branch Annual General Meeting was held on 12 February 2026 at the BCSA. There were 32 members in attendance. The existing committee members were re-elected, with Steve Yarwood continuing in his role as scribe, but standing down as Vice Chairman. Graham King was elected to the committee as Vice Chairman and Graham Steele was elected to the committee as Runs Coordinator. All other members of the previous committee continued in their existing roles. See here for more details of the committee.
