John Rosamond, Chairman of the Triumph Workers Cooperative during the 1970s and early 1980s came to a Berkshire Branch club night to talk about that critical period in Triumph’s history and answer our questions.

John Rosamond is the author of a book “Save the Triumph Bonneville”, which gives a detailed account of his time at the Triumph Co-operative including the events leading up to formation of the co-operative and its eventual liquidation.

This article is about the Berkshire Branch’s annual Old Motorcycle Gathering. A motorcycle show for a bygone era, open to all marques tax exempt historic vehicles and ridden in. The article first appeared in Nacelle, the Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club Magazine, in 2014.

The show is held in June at the BCSA, the venue we also use for Thursday evening clubnights.
