We had a fantastic Old Motorcycle Gathering on the 22 June 2024. There was an impressive collection of around 50 historic bikes on the lawn with a fair number of modern bikes parked in the car park. The new caterers provided excellent food and the bar was open. Prizes were given for Best Foreign, Best British, Best Triumph and Best in Show. The four winners were:

The TOMCC’s 75 Anniversary Celebration at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb Circuit was attended by over 1000 people, including visitors from overseas Triumph Owners Clubs. More than 90 people rode their bikes up the historic hill climb track. We had a Branch stand at the event. It was a fantastic day: glorious weather, an incredible array of bikes, watching the bikes on the hill climb, meeting people from other Branches and a great party atmosphere in the evening with a cracking live band. Berkshire Branch members won two prizes at the TOMCC 75th Anniversary. With over 1000 people there and representatives from Triumph Owner’s Clubs across Europe, they were up against some very tough competition. Jim won Best 1980s Bike and Greg scooped with Best Triumph. Congratulations to them both. They were presented with their prizes by Norman Hyde, TOMCC’s patron.

Greg won Best Triumph with his1965 Thruxton.

We had a good turnout for our Lunchtime Bike Meet on the 14 April 2024. The weather was fine and we had around 100 bikes there. A great start to the riding season. There are some photos of the event below.

We had our Branch stand at the Swallowfield show again with a display of bikes and some got to ride in the parade of classic vehicles in the arena.

We had great weather for our Lunchtime Bike Meet on 17 September 2022 and a good turnout. It was a great way to end the summer.

We had our Branch Stand at both days of the Swallowfield Show held over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Lots of Branch members came, displayed their bikes on the stand and visited the other attractions at this show which covered everything from horse show jumping to classic vehicles. The weather was great and everyone had a cracking time. Here are some photos from the show.

We had our Branch stand at the British Superbikes racing weekend at Thruxton. We had a wonderful weekend. We got to watch some fantastic racing, we had our own base where members could drop by and say hello and visitors had a great display of Triumph bikes, old and new, to look at.
