An up to date document giving a detailed account of the history of the Berkshire Branch of the TOMCC is now available. A history of the Branch was produced in 2007 which told the story from the founding of the Reading Branch in 1961 up to 2007. This has now been updated to bring it right up to the end of 2021. See here for more details.
The BCSA is now open and we are currently meeting every Thursday from 8.00 pm – 10.30pm at the BCSA. Wearing of masks is at the discretion of the individual, there is no longer a requirement to wear one.
Rides are being being organised most weeks. If you a Branch member you can ask to join either our Facebook or Whatsapp Group where the latest details of our runs are agreed. Send a message via the Contact Us form on this site if you want to join.
The 2022 Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on:
Thursday 10 February 20228.30pm
It will be held at the BCSA as part of our weekly club night. The AGM will start at 8.30pm. All Branch members are welcome to come to the meeting where we review the last year, present the accounts, elect a new committee and discuss plans for the coming year. Branch members can vote, ask questions of the current committee, put forward propositions and join in the discussion. This is an opportunity for all Branch members to have a say in the plans for the Branch during the next year.
People standing for the committee must be full members of the Branch and must be nominated by two other full members at any of the Thursday club nights leading up to the AGM on the nomination sheet that is on the notice board by the bar.
The branch will be hosting a bring & buy sale at the BCSA on Thursday 13 January 2022 from 8:00pm to around 10.00pm
This is the ideal opportunity for you to have a clearout of all those motorcycle related items in your garage that you no longer need and make a little pocket money at the same time!
Plus, you might also pick up the odd item from another member which you will find useful!
Just turn up with your stuff and lay it out on table in the bar and see if anyone wants to buy it.
Wander round and look at what else is on offer .
Remember, one man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure.
Food, drink and endless chat about motorbikes on offer as on all other Thursday club nights.
Some photos below of the last bring & buy sale we held at the beginning of 2020.

Our annual quiz for 2021 was held on 11 November 2021 at our regular club night at the BCSA. Multiple teams of three or four competed for a range of prizes and the honour of being this year’s winners. Questions as normal were set by Uncle Bob and tested our knowledge of motorcycle related facts with some other popular culture questions. We had a half time intermission to replenish our glasses before wracking our brains for the final session. Congratulations to the team of four visitors from the Vintage Motor Cycle Club (VMCC) who won. See some photos from the event below.
