For some members the riding season has perhaps come to a close and it’s time to “winterise” the bikes. Removing batteries, changing fluids, maybe stabilising fuel and applying ACF-50 (similar products are available) to protect those ever so shiny parts. For others though, me included, riding bikes throughout winter continues. It could be on their trusty all-year round steed or a “winter-hack’. So this is a reminder that the weekly rides continue, so if you fancy getting out check out the Runs App for more details.
Meanwhile, myself and Chris Allam, have been touring the Alsace region in France with 3 pals. My battered Rocket, Mercury, performed faultlessly for my extended tour in Germany covering over 3000 miles.
