In September 2022, Royal Berkshire Branch member Steve Yarwood and long-time riding companion Pete Thornton, embarked on a “journey-of-a-lifetime” to Istanbul; the goal being to cross the Bosphorus into Asia. This and the return leg visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Sedlec Ossuary, Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic took in 15 countries across Europe.
